The Sound of Power (SOP) series is a tribute to the porcelain figurines and the busts our grandparents loved to collect. Glossy white men and flawlessly carved maidens reminded us of something bigger, than our ordinary lives and inspired to greatness.
The Sound of Power is a contemporary reincarnation of these classical objects combining striking visual and audio qualities. SOP is a completely new genre of both busts and speakers. The series will feature powerful people who, in their own way, played the world like instruments and made countries and continents alike march to the beat of their metaphorical drums. Created in Russia and handcrafted in Sweden these bust speakers a true pieces of useful art and collectors item.
The latest releases are Donald Trump AKA Donald the Great and Pablo Escobar AKA Uncle Pablo. Previous releases: Margaret Thatcher AKA Maggie, Kim Jong-Un AKA Kim Sunshine Vladimir Putin, AKA St. Vladimir.

Manufacturing SOP bust speakers is a slow and demanding process. Each piece is individually casted and polished to perfection.
When the driver is installed each SOP undergoes a careful inspection and testing before numbered and signed. Even the amplifier which serves as the SOP stand is handcrafted. The level of craftsmanship in SOP production is as high as it's made for art exhibition.

Known for his violent power play when ruthlessly reducing his opponents by renaming them as Little Marco, Lyin’ Cruz and Crooked Hillary, Trump will without doubt keep power playing the world in his own way.
We have all listened to Donald for a long time now. Not knowing the next thing that will come out of Mr Trump. It’s with pride we present the final character in the Sound of Power series, Donald the Great. Offering you to play Donald like he’s been playing you. PABLO ESCOBAR AKA UNCLE PABLO
Colombia’s most famous national figure, Pablo Escobar’s legacy is one of myths, deaths and cocaine. Another face of his image is that of a modern day “Robin Hood” who spent fortunes to help disadvantaged people, constructing houses in the poor neighborhood of Sin Tugurios in his native town of Medellin, where he is still regarded as a saint.
A constant stream of films and TV-series telling Pablo's story, most recent the Netflix series Narcos, struggle with the myths of the former head of the Medellin Cartel. Regardless if he was responsible for 4000 deaths, spent $2500 per month on rubber bands (used them to tie together stacks of cash) or if rats annually ate 1 billion dollars due to cash storage problems, the myths of Escobar will continue to haunt us for generations to come, like his ghost which is said to roam the streets of Sin Tugurios at night. In short, no one will argue Pablo wasn’t a man you should play around with.

Kim Jong-un is quite arguably the worst living dictator in the world. As supreme leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-un is a man of absolute power and runs his government with a iron fist. He is following in his fathers and grandfathers footsteps and tormenting his citizens and the world by his ongoing pursuit of nuclear weapons, public execution and ever growing prison camps. Always concerned about possible treats to Pyongyang's regime, Kim has reportedly ordered music censorship to be extended, banning not only foreign songs but also local tunes, sources inside North Korea say. The Korean Workers’ Party Propaganda and Agitation Department has begun circulating a new and expanded list of banned songs, which also decree the destruction of any CD or cassette tape containing prohibited content, a variety of sources have confirmed. Kim has orders house-to-house searches to find and confiscate the banned music. Music is a big deal for Kim.
Trying to keep this population as far away as possible from any western influences, Kim himself is a notorious fan of western brands. Like Apple. Kim himself is an Apple user. So it only felt natural to create an Apple desktop speaker using the head of the supreme leader.

Petro Wodkins was inspired to create SOP series by his trip to Zimbabwe in January 2014. [read more]. The style of classic figurines and busts caught his attention.
The debut model in the 2015 SOP series is Vladimir Putin, AKA St. Vladimir. He is a menacing man that has affected the geopolitical situation of the entire world in the last 15 years.
“His distinct facial characteristics and piercing eyes turn this complex man into a human and powerful speaker” - Petro Wodkins says.
Mr. Putin is a highly decorated man of power with a broad spectrum of awards from KGB medals to Monaco’s Order of St. Karl (which he never wears in public).
“That’s not fair” Petro Wodkins says and installed one of his beautiful stars on Mr. Putin’s right lapel. Though it’s not widely advertised, during his early presidential career in 2002 Mr. Putin was awarded with the Order of St. Vladimir first degree by the Russian Orthodox Church. He was the first among Russian leaders in the last 100 years, who would appear as often in Church as in a gym. Thanks to Mr. Putin the Russian Orthodox Church has almost regained it’s former power.

The SOP bust is equipped with a high Quality Norwegian Driver,
the FU10RB is an 4” full range driver. New Curv cone, a woven polypropylene with internal damping together with perfectly matched moving parts give a smooth, extended frequency response.
The large, open weave fabric spider reflects very little acoustic energy to the cone, and offers excellent stiffness linearity. A stiff and stable injection moulded aluminum chassi keeps the critical components in perfect alignment. The pole piece is prolonged forwards and equipped with a deep drawn copper cap to ensure excellent linearity in the force factor and coil inductance.
